Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Hope Elizabeth.....

Its sad how fast a year can go by after you have struggled for a short or long period of time to have a family. We struggled for 3 years but they seemed like 5yrs most days when we look back. This year has flown by almost in the blink of an eye. Our precious babygirl who camei nto this world weighing only 4# 11.4 oz is now a sweet toddler. Im sure she weighs close to 23 plus pounds. We shall see friday at her 1 yr checkup.I was sad for a few days as i looked back over the last year. It at times was rough but it has had so many great memories created. I have done my best at taking planty of pictures for her to look back on and to create as many memories and traditions that we can continue with our family as it grows one day. This year has been by far the best year of my life.  We had a birthday party for Hope on sun Oct 3. It was great. We had so many friends who came out to celebrate with us the miracle we have raised this past year.

I just want to say a big thank you to all our family, friends, and co-workers for all your support during our struggle to start our family and the great amount of support you have given us this last year as we learned all about being a parent to a premiee and watching her grow into a healthy toddler...



Hope Elizabeth(July,Aug,Sept)



So i LOVE LOVE the 4th of July Holiday. Food,Family,Memories and fireworks. We took Hope out to the local firework display put on by our town. We met up with our nephew and brother in law. Hope didn't even jump when the fireworks went off. Of course i took this as a great time to play dress up with tutus and bows..

August was full of fun with Hope. She really started cruising along the furniture and into all my cabinets. I am loving every minute of it.

Soon Sept was upon us and we really had to pack up Hopes room for the trip. I never knew how much extra you needed when traveling with children.We packed up and this is our baggage for the trip.

Since my dad and extended family live in Ohio and wont be able to celebrate a lot of Hope's 1st such as 1st day of school,1st step,1st word and so on we did have Hope hair trimmed while visiting.

Soon April was upon us and my Lil girl was quickly turning 6 momths old and celebrating her 1st easter...

So with april came the diagnosis that Hope has a very severe right side head tilt and woud need to see a pediatric eye doctor.. We saw himmid april and were given a diagnosis of  Left Superior Oblique Tendon Palsy. In simple words it means the tendon on the top of her left eye was just hanging out and not actually doing it job. So we scheduled for eye surgery on May 7th to have a tuck if the disobedient tendon....

During surgery the discovered that actuallty during my development in mommy's tummy my left superior oblique tendon never formed.. So he had to release the left inferior oblique tendon aka the tendon on the bottom of my left eye...

My mom's dad AKA grandpa came back down from Ohio to be support to me and mom  during surgery and celebrate mom's 1st offical mothers day...

Soon the new year rolled around and soon Hope would get to meet my her grandpa and great grams on my side.. My dad was coming with my grandma to spend 9 days loving and spoiling Hope.

We planned Hope's Dedication Service at church for the weekend my dad was in town. She was dedicated on Jan 31, 2010.

Soon Valentines day was upon us and we took a quick family drive to Mommy and Daddy's favorite shopping town Frisco,Texas. We enjoyed the mall and then a delicious meal at he cheesecake factory. Daddy got mom a pretty ring with a square pink stone for valentines day. Pink just happens to be my birthstone...Good job Daddy. Of course mommy had me all decked out and dressed up for valentines day..

Next up we celebrated St. Patty's day.. Mommies co-worker Ashley made me a bow to match herr lil girl and i had the perfect outfit to match... Another chance for mommy to play dress up with me.. Somebody PLEASE take away her camera and bows so she will stop playing dress up with me..

Our first few weeks were spent in and out of the doctor's office getting Hope's weight checked and making sure her jaundice was going away.I played dress up alot with all my fun bows I had purchased from a local trendy grily girl store...

I enjoyed the 1st 8 weeks of her sweet little life at home just loving and cuddling that sweet little babygirl. We enjoyed Hope's 1st Halloween at home with my mom and just enjoyed some family time.

Then rolled around Thanksgiving and this year we had alot more to be thankful for.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with both sides of the family and Hope was loved on by many family members for the 1st time since she was born. She got to meet her cousins on Jordan's side of the family and my aunt and uncle were in town from Oklahoma and they got to meet her and love on her for the 1st time also. As Thanksgiving day came to a close the reality came back that monday i had to leave the house for the 1st time in 8 weeks and go to work for 8 hrs and leave my babygirl at home

I knew she was in great hands with her daddy but it was sad to leave after 8 weeks of all day loving and cuddling with my precious babygirl. The 1st day back at work flew by and soon i was back home cuddling and loving on that sweet little girl of mine. And before we knew it Christmas was upon us.
