Our Miracle Pregnancy...
My 1st IUI took place on Monday February 16, 2009. I had my 2nd IUI on Tuesday February 17, 2009. I received my 1st positive home pregnancy test on February 26th. My 1st beta draw March 6th was 217 and my 2nd on March 8th was 496.My 1st ultrasound was on March 23rd at 6weeks and 6days and I cried like a little baby when I saw the baby on the screen and heard a heartbeat. My 1st trimester went smoothly as far as morning sickness I had none. My only problem was my blood pressure was elevated. We dove head first into the 2nd trimester to be greeted with a burst of energy and lower blood pressure. We sailed on through to 16 weeks when we discover we were having a bouncing bundle of joy that would wear lots of PINK…We decided on the name Hope Elizabeth for a precious lil miracle baby girl. We moved along to 19 weeks and had our 1st visit with the High Risk ob just for careful watch over baby and me. I developed some food poisoning at 24weeks that sent for an overnight stay in Labor and Delivery with my wonderful co-workers. We sunk right in to the 3rd trimester with decreased energy and high blood pressure again. I continued cooking our precious lil girl Hope Elizabeth. I was 33weeks and 6 days when I was called out for my job at about 2am. I went home from work to my bed only to wake up with a pounding headache and extremely high blood pressure around noon. I went to the labor and delivery unit and stayed overnight along with a ton of blood work and urine test to rule out pre-ecclampsia. Everything came back fine so i was sent home to follow up with my doctor on that Thursady. I saw him on thursday and he took me off work for the remainder of my pregnancy due to showing signs of pre-ecclampsia. I was allowed to take my maternty pictures that sat and had a total of 2 hrs to be out of bed for the whole process of getting ready to getting home. Well thankfully my dear friend was taking them for me in the back parking lot of the hospital. I got home only to have an increasing pounding headache. So about 7 I called back to my lovely co-workers in Labor and Delivery and I was told to get there asap. Thank God i only lived 2 minutes from the hospital at that time.I arrive at the hospital to be greeted by my Doctor who just happened to be on call that weekend. So we begin the battery of blood and urine test again and discover that i have devolped pre-ecclampsia. Im told that i have to deliver my babygirl in order to get rid of the pre-ecclampsia going on with me. next up my labor story....
